I don’t exclusively write Australiana, but my Aussie sensibilities colour the types of stories I’m drawn to. Underdogs. Humble aspirations. Emotionally high stakes in petty, small-stakes worlds. This is what moves me, and this is what I write.

I am a weirdo. And I love writing about weirdos - taking audiences down rabbit holes into strange subcultures, finding the human connection in seemingly bizarre ensembles of oddballs.
