My goal is to bring Australian stories to an international audience and provide Australian theatre with high-quality alternatives to imported works. In my most recent work, DUBBO CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING, I combined this passion with my silliest, greatest loves; pro wrestling and musical theatre.

As a writer, I’m drawn to stories about nostalgia and community, offsetting high emotional stakes against comedically low external stakes. I like taking audiences down rabbit holes into niche subcultures whose existence they hadn’t considered, finding the human connection in seemingly bizarre ensembles of weirdos.

I’m currently working on a bunch of new projects, and am developing DCW for the screen with Congaline Productions and Perpetual Entertainment.

As of 2025, I’m based in New York as a Fulbright Scholar, absorbing as much musical writing experience and pizza as I possibly can.
